Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and we do not ship to overseas international destinations.

Makeup Creations Inc. attempts to process and ship your order within 24 hours of being placed on a business day, unless product is on back order, limited availability or special-order status. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day.

Customers are notified as quickly as possible if the product they ordered is on back order or no longer available for any reason so a decision can be made.

We accept FPO, APO address, but expect a 3 to 5 days delay from USPS. USPS is not an option shown on our shopping cart but will be used in such cases to these addresses.

When the shipment(s) is/are refused or undeliverable, customer will be responsible for the second time shipping and handling fees or a 20% restocking fee will be applied if the customer refuses the order. 

MakeupCreations Inc. prefers to ship all packages to the billing address of the credit card. The accuracy of this address is the responsibility of the cardholder. Address corrections that are made while in transit or after delivery to a wrong address are expensed to the cardholder credit card as we incur charges from the shipping carrier for this service. Orders shipped to any address other than the billing address may be delayed for credit card verification. 

The shipping charge is easily determined through the shipping estimate tool once products are added to your cart. To calculate shipping in the checkout process, simply add the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart, follow the steps of checkout and select the method of shipment. The shipping charge will then appear in your total. In rare cases shipping charges will be reviewed and adjusted prior to processing the order.

Shipping Carriers

We use FedEx, UPS and USPS carriers depending upon which items are added to your shopping cart and the type of shipping service you choose. 

Shipping Services

Ground shipping is the most economical choice. It takes approximately 6-7 business days to arrive on average but is not a guaranteed timeframe.

3-day select shipping is guaranteed by the delivery carrier to be received within 3 business days of order processing. Note that if the order is placed after 12 p.m. PST or placed on a weekend or holiday, we may not be able to ship your order until the next business day.

Shipments to APO/FPO/DPO and U.S. Territories

For orders being shipped to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses and U.S. Territories addresses, please allow an extra 3-5 business days for delivery. All shipments to APO/FPO/DPO locations are shipped via standard USPS ground service.

Shipments to P.O. Box
For orders being shipped to P.O. box addresses, please allow an extra 3 business days for delivery. All shipments to P.O. Boxes are shipped via standard USPS ground service.

Shipments to Canada

For orders being shipped internationally to Canadian addresses, please allow an extra 3-10 business days for delivery. All shipments to Canadian locations are shipped via USPS for larger items, such as makeup cases, director’s chairs & large bags and USPS First Class & Priority for smaller makeup tools and items.

Holiday Shipping

Continental U.S. / standard addresses:

For orders being shipped to the continental U.S. at standard addresses place your order by 3 p.m. on December 13, 2018 for delivery by Christmas.

APO/FPO/DPO and U.S. Territories:

For orders being shipped to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses and U.S. Territories addresses, place your order by midnight PST on December 1, 2018 for delivery by Christmas.

P.O. Box:
For orders being shipped to P.O. box addresses, place your order by 3 p.m. PST on December 12, 2018 for delivery by Christmas.

Canada:
For orders being shipped internationally to Canadian addresses, place your order by 3 p.m. PST on December 10, 2018 for delivery by Christmas.

Bank Authorization

All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be processed and shipped. 

Second day, overnight service, and saturday delivery service is not available for shipments to APO/FPO/DPO, PO Box destinations, U.S. Territories, Canada, and some locations in Alaska and Hawaii.

All orders are subject to payment authorization. Only authorized orders will be processed and shipped. Orders destined for APO/FPO/DPO, P.O Box, or U.S. Territories must be shipped via standard ground service.

Important Canada Shipping, Duties and Tax Information

Makeup Creations currently also offers shipping to Canada. The shipping (transportation) costs for your order are automatically shown on the check-out page upon selecting a shipping method with a Canadian delivery address. The shipping costs are calculated based on total weight, dimensions and destination for each order.

Our shipping charges do not include any Canadian duties and taxes which may apply. Canadian duties and taxes are the responsibility of the shipment recipient and are collected at time of delivery. We cannot predetermine the Canadian duties and taxes that may apply to each shipment, therefore we cannot charge them to you at check out. We can only calculate and charge the UPS, FED EX or USPS shipping fee in our shopping cart. Canadian duties and taxes are collected by the courier at time of delivery.

Limited Warranty

Our products come with a limited warranty to protect against factory defects in workmanship or materials for a period of 30 days from date of purchase from Makeup Creations. Makeup Creations will not be responsible for damage resulting from the customer's negligence or abuse, or for damage caused by aggressive or other improper handling by delivery personnel. 

Makeup Creations limited warranty is a defective exchange policy that provides for either repair, replacement or credit (at our sole discretion) of merchandise that has been confirmed as defective by either the manufacturer or MakeupCreations.com within the 30-day warranty period.

Holiday Return Policy

Holiday return/exchange policy notice: MakeupCreations.com is pleased to offer an extended return/exchange policy for the holiday season on JustCase, Casemetic, Sunrise, Hiker and Ver Beauty products. All orders for these products placed between November 15th, 2018 and December 25th, 2018 will have the return/exchange deadline extended to January 15, 2019. All other conditions of our return/exchange policy will apply. No exceptions (see details below).

Return Policy

Please review the description, images and the dimensions of the product(s) you choose carefully before placing the order as we are not able to accept all items back as returns, shipping is non-refundable and the customer is responsible for paying to ship the order back except in approved cases of defective/damaged products.

Returns cannot be accepted without an RMA number. Please click on the link in your order confirmation e-mail to request a product RMA number or login to your account at Makeup Creations, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail that your order may be sent back with the RMA number.

Products returned for exchange or return must be in new condition, in original packaging and include all packing materials and other accessories. They must be received within 30 days of the date of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse for return or charge a restocking fee for products returned in unsatisfactory resale condition due to lack of sufficient packaging or customer use.

We do not take responsibility for loss or damage on returned item(s).

Returning a defective/damaged product

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours of receipt to report any damage or defects. After 48 hours, we reserve the right to reject any claims of damages or defects. It is the responsibility of the recipient to open and inspect their products within this time frame. No exceptions. We will assess the damage from the pictures you send and resolve the issue as quickly as possible so you can get on with enjoying your products.

Makeup Creations reserves the right to issue replacement, credit returns or decline the claim. Credits will be issued factoring in discounts that were applied to the purchase price. Return shipping may or may not be paid by Makeup Creations depending on the circumstances of the damage/defect.

No exceptions will be made for used makeup cases, director’s chairs, cosmetics or any used item that cannot be resold. Terms and conditions may vary by product or manufacturer. See list of final sale items below.

Products returned for exchange must be in new condition, unused with tags on, in the original box and packaging materials and include all accessories within 30 days of purchase. If an order/item is returned without meeting these requirements, there will be a 15%-20% restocking and damage fee if item arrives damaged due to insufficient return packaging and original packing materials not used to send back. We reserve the right to refuse for return, or charge a restocking fee for damaged or incomplete returns. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number issued by MakeupCreations Inc. or when the product manufacturers return policies supersede ours.

All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all products in all cases. Warranty is automatically voided if there is physical damage to product because of use or poor packaging used to send product back.

You must use our Contact Form along with your order number to report any shipping damages, product damages or manufacturing defects. Upon receiving your email via our contact form, we will request that you provide photos of the defects or damages to the products in order to identify the problem and authorize the return or credit (at our sole discretion).

Returns/exchanges for damaged products must be received with a RMA Number attached to it within 30 days of purchase date, and/or within 15 days of delivery date.

Cancelling orders and refunds

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account at Makeup Creations, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail that your order may be sent back with the RMA number. Your refund will be issued once we've received and processed the returned item(s) within 14 days of purchase.Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable once the item has shipped but we will gladly issue a refund for the value of the merchandise paid at the time of order placement once we receive the product(s) in original condition, in original packaging, with tags attached and with all accessories.

The customer is responsible to pay for shipping to return the order;collect shipments will be refused. You will be credited for the order less the cost of original shipping and less a 15-20% restocking fee if applicable. Note that some products are not eligible for return; see list of final sale items below.

We will refund you in the same manner you paid. You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of shipping your package, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 7 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1-2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 7 business days).

Returns/exchanges for cancelled orders must be received back to the warehouse with a RMA Number attached to it within 14 days of purchase date.

The following items are considered final sale:

Special order items and closeout / discontinued / final sale items

We cannot accept returns on special-order items of 10+ or more per item code or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We do not accept returns of closeout, discontinued or final sale items which are commonly identified by the title or the product status.

Cosmetics, makeup brush cases, makeup brushes, and implements

All makeup bags, brushes, brush cases, implements, mixing palettes, false lashes, and cosmetics including kits and filled palettes under the Makeup Creations product line are considered final sale and are non-returnable items. Please contact us with pictures within 48 hours of receipt if your products arrived damaged.

Color Information

While MakeupCreations.com has tried to accurately display the colors of products, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.

ZUCA cases

All sales of ZUCA products are final. If you have a warranty issue because of a defective product please contact us to start the warranty replacement process. We require pictures of the defective parts.
